Heidi

Heidi and I didn't get to have a very long photoshoot, but I had to post some of the ones that were by the blossoms. It's so beautiful this time of year! :)

Melissa

Melissa is one of my best friends. It all started sophomore year, with a simple invitation, "Do you want to come to my room?" Ever since then, her room has become my official hangout spot. Writing songs, talking about life, studying for the next big test... We've been through it all. She always has good advice, something encouraging to say  and she has a crazy intuition. I feel very privileged to have been able to take some senior pictures of her at one of the churches we were at on tour. The trees had the most beautiful pink blossoms, and I love how the pictures express spring. Enjoy! :)

Olivia

Olivia is one of the sweetest girls I know. She always has a smile for everyone she sees, and she has a calm, warm presence. She makes you feel right at home. I've been privileged to live right across from her in the dorm, and now just one room away from her in Whistling Winds. I was so excited when I got the opportunity to take her pictures! It was a rainy day in Vancouver (as is typical), and Dave took us to a special spot just for the occasion: Granville Island. It was a cute little town, but as we pulled up, it was pouring buckets and buckets of rain. So we grabbed Olivia's umbrella, my rainjacket, and my camera, and we ran for cover. It was the most amazing experience, and definitely my favorite photoshoot.

Olivia's pictures are as beautiful as she is! :)

Mothers

I found this quote today, and I thought I would share it, even though I don't believe in love at first sight:
I believe in love at first sight because I've been loving my mother ever since I opened my eyes. :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Music Camp

While I was in Honduras, one of the things we did was a music camp for the older kids at the orphanage. It was a lot of fun! We would do a long singing time, with lots of fun songs with hand motions, and a instrument-learning time where the kids got to try playing our instruments! Anyways, I brought my camera one of the days we were there, so here are some pictures from it! Enjoy! :)

Check out that kid's HUGE green watch! :)

This is Katie and Rosa! They were so cute together :) Rosa was not always very well-behaved... Sometimes she would just sit there and cry, and then when you started to take pity on her, she would stop immediately and you'd realize she was just faking to get attention. But she grew a lot during the music camp, and always participated in every song. I know that God is working in her, and I hope that the seeds we planted will grow.

I got to teach some of the kids how to play flute! Some of the boys found it really funny :)

This little girl was pretty good at it! I told her she should take lessons or something! (Sadly, that was sort of a joke, because I'm pretty sure they don't have any way of taking lessons there)

Alicia like to help me clean it after the other kids had been blowing in it, but she didn't quite know how to use it herself (as you can see in the next picture) :D

After the singing and playing instruments, we took them outside so they could play! :)
