Music Camp

While I was in Honduras, one of the things we did was a music camp for the older kids at the orphanage. It was a lot of fun! We would do a long singing time, with lots of fun songs with hand motions, and a instrument-learning time where the kids got to try playing our instruments! Anyways, I brought my camera one of the days we were there, so here are some pictures from it! Enjoy! :)

Check out that kid's HUGE green watch! :)

This is Katie and Rosa! They were so cute together :) Rosa was not always very well-behaved... Sometimes she would just sit there and cry, and then when you started to take pity on her, she would stop immediately and you'd realize she was just faking to get attention. But she grew a lot during the music camp, and always participated in every song. I know that God is working in her, and I hope that the seeds we planted will grow.

I got to teach some of the kids how to play flute! Some of the boys found it really funny :)

This little girl was pretty good at it! I told her she should take lessons or something! (Sadly, that was sort of a joke, because I'm pretty sure they don't have any way of taking lessons there)

Alicia like to help me clean it after the other kids had been blowing in it, but she didn't quite know how to use it herself (as you can see in the next picture) :D

After the singing and playing instruments, we took them outside so they could play! :)
